"Thanks For Being a Great Mom Day"

Well, actually more like evening. But still. My sweeter-than-words husband and my beautiful daughter took me out for dinner to celebrate me and all the work I do with raising our baby and taking care of our family. Quote from said sweetheart: "Every mother can have mother's day. This is for great moms, like you!" What a surprise! I can't even tell you how touched I am by the thoughtfulness behind this simple gesture! We went to a wonderful little local place that was kid-friendly and ate great food and drank a perfect glass of wine. Lovely. It doesn't get any better than that, folks.
